Mr. Himihiko Katsuki has been appointed as the newly appointed Managing Director & CEO of BHL as per the resolution of its board of directors with an effect from June 27, 2019.

In his 20 years of extensive experience in Japan based Automobile Multinational companies, he has served as many senior positions in Honda Vietnam Co., Ltd.; Honda Motor Co. Ltd., Japan; and Honda Motorcycle & Scooter India Private Ltd.

BHL started its journey in Bangladesh on December 04, 2012 under a joint venture between Honda Motor Company Limited, Japan and Bangladesh Steel and Engineering Corporation (State Own Corporation) under The Ministry of Industry, The Peoples Republic of Bangladesh. BHL has reinforced its commitment towards creating, expanding and ensuring the joy and freedom of mobility in Bangladesh by starting of the new motorcycle manufacturing plant in Abdul Monem Economic Zone, Munshiganj on November 11, 2018.
